WHAT KIND OF ORGANIZATION IS TFC SPORTS?

TFC Sportsplex is a Christ-centered sports ministry serving families in the Tucker, Gwinnett, and DeKalb communities. We offer TFC Rockets youth basketball for Grades K-12, men's and women's adult basketball leagues, and the Angel League, our special needs sports ministry. Everything we do is built on one motto: Be More Than The Game.

Where are TFC Sports programs held?

TFC Sports programs are held at TFC Sportsplex in Tucker, Georgia. Specific practice and game schedules are provided for each program.

Do I have to be a member of The Faith Center to participate?

You do not. TFC is a ministry, and that means everyone is welcome. You don't have to be part of a church to play, however, we encourage you to join us on Sundays for the 9 AM or 11 AM services.

How does TFC Sports blend faith and sports?

Faith is the foundation, not an add-on. Our philosophy stands on three pillars: Character, Competition, and Community. Every practice and game includes a huddle with Scripture, a life-skill challenge, and prayer. Games open with team prayer and close with a handshake line and a prayer circle. We compete hard and we compete with honor, because we believe sports are a platform to build people, not just players.

What programs does TFC Sports offer?

For the Fall 2026 season, TFC Sports currently offers:

Youth Basketball (TFC Rockets)

• Combined Boys & Girls League: K-2nd grade
• Boys League: 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th, and 9th-12th grade
• Girls League: 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th, and 9th-12th grade

• Men's League: 18-34, 35-49, 50+
• Women's League: 18-34, 35-49, 50+

when does the season start?

Combined Boys & Girls (K-2nd)

• Season Starts: October 17

Boys/Girls Leagues (3rd-12th)

• Player Evaluations: September 30 or October 1
• Team Practices start: October 5–6
• Games Start: October 17
• Regular Season Ends: November 21
• Playoffs: December 5
• Championship Game: December 12

How often do teams practice and play?

Combined Boys & Girls (K-2nd)

• Practice and games on Saturdays

Boys/Girls Leagues (3rd-12th)

• Practice: One 60-minute practice per week on Mondays or Tuesdays
• Games: One game per week on Saturdays

Do I have to attend ASSESSMENTS?

Yes, all 3rd-12th youth divisions require assessments to create fair and balanced teams. Attendance is required for all assessments.

Registration forms also include questions about skill level and experience to help create balanced teams.

How much playing time will my child receive?

During the regular season, every player is guaranteed at least 50% playing time, and equal playing time is required. Playoff playing time may vary.

Can I volunteer to coach?   

Absolutely. We strongly encourage parents and adults to volunteer. Coaching is one of the most impactful ways to invest in our players and community. No prior experience is required. • Captains Training: September 9
• Season Starts: October 15
• Regular Season Ends: November 19
• Playoffs: December 3

Do I need a full team to register?

No! You can register as an individual or as a full team. Individual players may be drafted or assigned to a team by league administration.

• Free Agent registration: Sign up as an individual player and be placed on a team.
• Team Registration: Create a team and invite your teammates to register individually and join your roster.
